Arya Samaj marriage is very easy to execute, and they have a couple of special rituals. Couples from different religions who fall under the same umbrella of Hinduism can get married to Arya Samaj wedding.
It is a choice of preference for most
couples who belong to Hindu, Buddha, Jain, or Sikh religions. The ceremony is performed
adhering to the Vedic rituals in an Arya Samaj Mandir. Once you get married in
the Arya Samaj temple, you will have to register your marriage through the
magistrate.
Arya Samaj Marriage Registration Process
The couples can go to the district marriage
registrar and register the marriage under section 8 of the marriage act.
- The marriage will be registered
under the Hindu marriage act 1955 if both couples from the same beliefs or
religion.
- If their beliefs differ, then
the marriage will be registered under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.

marriage.
- Make an appointment with the
sub-divisional magistrate’s office for the registration process. It may take
one day for the registration, so you should use it as early as possible.
- Go there and fill the
registration form.
- Then, you will need to submit
all the documents for a proof along with two passport size photographs of the
bride and groom.
- You will also need to provide a
photograph of the wedding along with the wedding invitation card.
- Two witnesses also need to be
physically present to sign the documents.
- After completing all the formalities, the magistrate’s office will grant you the marriage certificate.
